Life at Argon

The success of Argon Consulting depends on the excellence of our consultants, which is why we provide them with a pleasant working environment, an instructive experience and concrete career opportunities.

Testimonials from a few of our consultants are enough to give you an inside look at Argon Consulting.

Arnaud, Director

“After I graduated from Polytechnique and from Mines Paris, I started working in the R&D department at Saint-Gobain. Then I became a consultant at Cap Gemini, before being promoted to a managerial position.

In 2008, my taste for new fields of industrial development and new challenges, plus the size of the organization, all prompted me to join Argon Consulting.

The real advantages of Argon Consulting are based on teamwork, proximity and consultants who are motivated to deliver quality work.

What I like most about consulting, and about my current job, is the diversity of the offers, the sales dimension, customer contact, complete management of projects and budgets and team meetings.

All these activities require consultants that have analytical, organizational and adaptive qualities, and to be curious and dynamic in order to work for major accounts from different sectors.”

Odile, Manager

“After graduating from Polytechnique in general engineering, I followed a course specializing in industrial management at Cambridge. Then I spent 5 months on an internship in supply chain consultancy at Accenture.

I joined Argon Consulting at the beginning of 2006 as a Junior Consultant, because I was attracted by the people and a job that focused on operations. The diversity of the issues, the proximity with the field, the fast-track training in various subjects and the quality of relationships all attracted me to Argon Consulting.

Similarly, the working atmosphere is based on helping one another, sharing information and good relations between consultants.

Consultancy has provided me with an opportunity to discover a range of issues and to work with quality people, who are very professional.

In 2008, I became a Senior Consultant, and I have been a Manager since 2010. I take part in meetings and presentations with customers, I support and advise my team and participate in the company’s internal activities, including job interviews, sales activities or the participation in customer proposals.

In my opinion, thoroughness, motivation, a listening ear, energy and communication are the main qualities required to become a consultant at Argon Consulting.”

Danielle, Senior consultant

After graduating in general engineering from the Ecole des Mines Paris, I immediately joined Argon Consulting in 2007 as a Junior Consultant, before becoming a Senior Consultant.

To begin with, I was not particularly attracted by consulting, but I soon came to enjoy my job at Argon Consulting, thanks to its human-sized structure and the great working atmosphere. The size of the company allows each employee to progress at their own pace, to quickly acquire valuable experience and take on responsibilities, and to work on interesting assignments. Thanks to the mentoring system, there is always someone available to listen to you and assist you on a daily basis.

Working relations in the company are good and the consultants help and support one another. Management is excellent, and the Directors and Associates keep close track of the assignments and pass on their experience and know-how on a daily basis.

To work as a consultant at Argon Consulting, you need an open mind, common sense, you must be logical and really want to learn and discover new things. You must be good with figures and data and be a good listener and communicator.”

Samuel, Junior Consultant

When I graduated from Polytechnique and from Ecole des Mines Paris, I completed a post-graduate internship at Intel Corp in Boston, where I worked on the development of a supply chain for low-cost products. After my 6-month internship, I joined Argon Consulting in September 2009.

I wanted to work in a small consultancy company. Argon Consulting appealed to me immediately, because the supply chain is its core business, which means that similar issues are encountered in all our assignments. My arrival went smoothly, and I was quickly assigned to an assignment. And since some of the consultants are present in the offices in Levallois-Perret on a regular basis, I quickly became part of the team.

Consultants at Argon Consulting must be independent, analytically-minded – since analysis is the very basis of consulting – curious and want to work on various subjects for different companies.

My job provides me with daily challenges which I appreciate a lot. However life at Argon Consulting also enables me to reconcile my work with my private life.”
