Human Resources inform all Argon employees whenever a new consultant joins the team, sharing a brief description of their career path to Argon and their future office location.
Upon their arrival, newcomers are given their computer and a welcome pack containing key information and step-by-step guidance for their first days at the firm (administrative procedures, internal processes and tools, training, mentoring, etc.).
A welcome lunch is organized for new employees to get to know the people in their office, and they will schedule their first meeting with their mentor. Each Argonaute has a mentor to support them throughout their career. An Argonaut also meets with their mentor to discuss the last period when it comes to the biannual appraisals.
Argon Consulting everyday
To encourage the transfer of knowledge between our consultants working on diverse subjects, clients, and sometimes different countries, every other Friday we dedicate half a day for these exchanges.
- Training session: the training program comprizes a core curriculum for each grade, complemented by tailor-made teaching. Our in-house experts – including our Partners and Managers – prepare and lead training sessions
- Friday News: exchanges are made over lunch, where new arrivals are introduced, new projects are discussed, and internal information is communicated
- Business case: a 15-minute presentation on a recent assignment is given by the team who led it
To support the firm, each employee contributes to internal projects relating to the development of our expertise (managing internal knowledge and expertise, Argon's offering, business trends, writing articles and white papers, etc.) and the organization of company life (in-house events, the website, Argon Green, and our tool kits). Everyone has the opportunity to contribute to one or more topics of interest.
